The moulded plastic parts under soil (out of sunlight) should last indefinitely. The exposed pieces being the inlet and overflow pipes have a lifespan of 10 years.

The WaterUps Oasis Wicking Beds include the ingenious WaterUps wicking system to deliver the largest, most efficient water reservoir possible and ideal soil biome conditions. Water is stored in the base of the planter and wicked via perlite up to the soil above, closer to the roots and more conducive for thriving plants. The benefits of the waterups innovative wicking solution, requiring 80% less watering than top down methods, at the same time reaping 30% more yield. These planters are an attractive modular system that can be used as stand-alone garden beds or as part of a larger display for a multitude of uses, all while improving sustainability.
